Designs Testing for the Embroidery Machines

Every Thursday each month

10:30am - 3:30pm

Each Thursday of the month Designing Threads needs testers for embroidery machines of different formats. Once a design is tested so there are no errors in the design, the tester will receive that design for their machine free. You must furnish the machine and have a way for the designs to be transferred to either a card or other device that will accept the designs in your machine format. Fabric, threads and stabilizer are furnished by Designing Threads. Please call Quilted Treasures if you would like to take part in this.

Block Party of the Month

July 2 and July 16

4:00 pm – 6:30 pm

$10.00 per class

This class will provide different types of techniques and ways to make the same block. You will sew the block in class so that you will go home with a finished block. You will learn to sew blocks from beginner level to more advance techniques. You will end up with enough blocks to make what ever size quilt you want.

Students must furnish their own fabric. Patterns and instructions will be provided at the class. You will be given the supply list for each class at the previous class once fee has been paid.

Children's Beginners Sewing/Quilt Class

July 14

10:00 am – 12:00 pm

$50.00

This class is for children ages 9 & up who wish to learn to sew and quilt. They will learn their sewing machine, how to sew straight lines, curves, and follow sewing directions. Projects will be completed during class.

Their will be 2 students per teacher due to age of the students. A deposit is required to save space. A supply list will be given at time of payment.

Student must have a good working sewing machine and sewing implements.

Twilight Sewing Gala

Join in the fun and bring your UFO’s! Bring a potluck dish or snack to share and sew until you “can’t sew no more”. We will lock the doors at

5 pm so you can stay until twilight next morning if you wish.

Rental of Longarm will be available for an extra fee.
